Objective:
1. imparting extensive knowledge of axiological foundations of law and government in the context of political and legal thought
2. imparting extensive knowledge of political movements motivated by political or legal thought
3. imparting extensive knowledge of connections between political theory or philosophy and political or legal practice
4. imparting extensive knowledge of main ideas of political and legal philosophy (i.e. freedom, human dignity, justice)

2. Political and legal thought of Antiquity
3. Political and legal thought of the Middle Ages
4. Political and legal thought of the Renaiisance and Enlightenment
5. Contemporary political thought
