The aim:
The aim of this course is to acquaint students with the knowledge of procedures related to the organization of mass events. The students will learn about citizen’s right to participate in mass events, types of mass events, and rules and procedures of granting permits to hold mass events. They will also learn about safety risks at mass events. Students will be able to implement the rules and regulations of organization and safety of mass events. They are to be aware of dangers, i.e. terrorists attacks, use of chemical weapons, assassinations, etc., that are related to mass events.

2. The evolution of citizen’s right to participate and organize mass events.
3. Types of mass events.
4. Mass events during special days in selected countries.
5. Mass events security conditions.
6. Rules and procedure of granting permits to hold mass events.
7. The role of public administration in the process of granting permits to hold mass events.
8. Police and crowd safety at mass events.
9. Collecting and processing information concerning mass events’ security.
10. Safety risks at mass events.
