Contents:
1. Legal Professions: barristers and solicitors, judges, prosecutors, notaries. Possible steps in a legal career.
2. The Study and Classification of Law: what is law?, distinction between public & private law, branches of law. Sources of law.
3. Constitutional law. Legislature, executive and judiciary.
4. Human rights.
5. EU law.
6. Administrative law. Administrative proceedings and judicial review.
7. Public economic law. Public procurement.
8. Financial law. Revenue and expenditure of the state. Tax law.
9. Environmental law.
10. Criminal law. The concept and structure of an offence. Types of offences.
