The aim:
1. Presentation the legal environment of international non-governmental organizations.

1. Student is able to analyze the operation of international non-governmental organizations.
2. Student knows how to interpret the relevant legal acts and atudent distinguishes different kinds of of international non-governmental organizations.

1. General introduction – history, definitions of NGO, position on NGOs on international level – problem of personality.
2. Cooperation between NGOs and International organizations – United Nations.
3. Cooperation between NGOs and International organizations – Council of Europe and European Union.
4. Cooperation between NGOs and International organizations – Organization of American States, African Union, UNASUR.
5. Special Status of International Committee of the Red Cross and International Olympic Committee.
6. Presentation of the chosen international non-governmental organizations.
7. Humanitarian NGOs.
8. Human Rights NGOs.
9. Enivormental NGOs.
10. Sport NGOs.
