Business Planning

The aim:
1. Presenting the concept and the essence of a business plan.
2. Introducing students to the issue of preparing a business plan from the theoretical.
3. Introducing students to the issue of preparing a business plan from the practical side.

Acquired knowledge:
1. The student has knowledge of the methodological principles of preparing a business plan and areas of its application in practice.
2. The student has knowledge in the field of economic analysis methods.
3. The student has knowledge of the conditions of the functioning of enterprises on the market and the relationship between the basic market phenomena and development opportunities of enterprises.

Acquired skills:
1. The student has the ability to conduct basic economic analysis required for the development of a business plan.
2. Student is able to independently build site plans in including a strategic, marketing and organizational plan,the financial year of the selected enterprise.

Acquired social skills:
1. The student acquires the ability to communicate and work in a group necessary to develop a business plan.
2. The student will be prepared to observe the changing conditions of development and their impact on the development of enterprises operating on the market.

Course contents
1. Planning as a management function.
2. Business plan and stages of creating a business plan.
3. Methods of strategic analysis of a company (macro environment).
4. Methods of strategic analysis of the enterprise (micro environment).
5. Integrated methods analysis of a strategic enterprise (SWOT).
6. Marketing plan.
7. Operational plan (technical, production).
8. Organizational plan and financial plan.
9. Methods for assessing an investment project.
